(Senior) Backend Software Engineer (m/f/d) Your role You will design, develop, and unit test robust APIs and backend services using Java EE. From time to time you will also get the opportunity to make smaller contributions to our Angular based frontends. The techstack we are looking for Backend: In-depth experience with Java programming language is essential. You have built your own and integrated thirdparty APIs before and therefore, you are well aware of the toolbox that Java EE provides for doing so. Databases: Proficient in MySQL, or similar technologies. Testing Frameworks: Strong knowledge of JUnit, Mockito, Testcontainer, REST assured or related tools. Build and Deployment Tools : Experience with Maven and Docker. Great if you heard about Kubernetes. Architecture: Sound understanding of RESTful principles, with experience in distributed systems and Microservices being advantageous.
